Hall of Fame Highwayman artist RL Lewis, Jr returns to Citrus County

The Center for victim rights will be hosting a gathering to showcase RL Lewis’ paintings for purchase and a book signing of his new book titled A Journey Through the Eyes of an Original Highwaymen Artist, R.L. Lewis, Jr.
Mr. Lewis will do his magic starting with a blank canvas. The finished painting will then be raffled off.

The event will be held at Margarita Breeze at 1610 SE Paradise Circle Crystal River, Fl 34429 352-795-3133 from 2-6 p.m.
Light snacks will be served and the restaurant menu will be available with a 20% discount off all meals for ticket holders.

The Center for Victim Rights, a 501(c)3, has been in operation since 1992 and offers free assistance to innocent victims of violent crime locally and nationwide.

Crimes covered are hit and run, d.u.i. Crash, domestic violence, murder, and more. If qualified, a victim can be eligible for medical, dental, counseling, lost wages, out of pocket expenses, and burial when applicable.

The Center for Victim Rights has been funded throughout the years with grant’s and donations from the community to help with operating expenses such as gas, office supplies, and other incidentals as they present themselves.

There is no paid staff, exceptional volunteers, and a caring community when asked for help.

Cynthia is an Air Force veteran (Vietnam era) so she has connected to the many needs of veterans and the elderly and is currently looking for a female veteran who may need a service dog.
